APRIL 2003
This is a long delayed and final update on the FREEZ'ER site. Its journey continues, in fact FREEZ'ER was just invited to another film festival, the XIII SEMANA INTERNACIONAL DE CINE FANTASTIC in Spain.
However, now our second film is in the final stages of post-production. It's called GHOST OF THE NEEDLE and is a supernatural/psychological thriller. Or to me, old school horror. We're really proud of GHOST OF THE NEEDLE from the script to the production values to the acting. So please check out its site www.ghostoftheneedle.com soon. It's only a front page now, but in another month the full site will be up along with a trailer.
GHOST OF THE NEEDLE will be screened at the Cannes Film Market this May. Avenet Images will be there with the film along with FREEZ'ER, continuing its foreign sales.
So for any future updates to see what we're up to, check out www.ghostoftheneedle.com and follow its progress. For all those that bought or saw FREEZ'ER, thanks.
APRIL 2002
Brian and Laurence have been invited to be on the panel of Image Atlanta Film and Video's discussion on independent horror film in May.
Check out the latest review of FREEZ'ER on ZombieKeeper.com. Thanks to Loudlonald for the great review!
If you're in the mood for a dubbed version of FREEZ'ER, seek out the Hong Kong DVD version on the web. It has the original artwork, a cool interface and a fantastic Mandarin dub job. (It's in Chinese too, but the voices for the Mandarin dub are dead on. Of course, we have no idea what they're saying, but they sound good saying it!)
JANUARY 2002
FREEZ'ER will be screened at the Wuerzburg International Film Festival in Germany, January 24th - 27th, 2002. Director Brian Avenet-Bradley will be attending both screenings of the film. For more information about the festival, go to http://filmwochenende-wuerzburg.de. For the screening times, go to http://filmwochenende-wuerzburg.de/ausblick2002.html
OCTOBER 2001

The screening of Freez'er at the Hamburg Film Festival was a great success. The audience really enjoyed the movie, and there was a great Q&A afterwards. Thanks to all who attended, especially Ingo and Marcelle.

We are pleased to announce that our North American distributor is Iron Home Entertainment. The VHS and DVD of the movie is planned to be in video stores for Halloween.

MAY/JUNE/JULY 2001
It's been a busy couple of months. "Freez'er" found a receptive audience at both the Cannes Film Market as well as at the Atlanta Film and Video Festival. Now we're pleased to announce that we have been invited to attend the Filmfest Hamburg festival which will take place in Germany, the last week of September. This will be our first foreign screening at a film festival, and we're honored to be invited. You can check out their festival site at www.filmfest-hamburg.de
APRIL 2001
"Freez'er" now has a Foreign Distributor and the film will have its premiere at the Cannes Film Market in May. Laurence, the producer, will also be attending it.
"Freez'er" will be screening at the Atlanta Film and Video Festival on June 10th at 9:00pm at the Regal Cinema, Hollywood 24 theater. It is located on the I-85 North East access road right between Chamblee Tucker Rd and Shallowford Rd exit on I-85. We hope you can come see the film!
MARCH 2001
"Freez'er" has been selected for the Atlanta Film and Video Festival. It's the 25th anniversary of the festival so it's a great place for a festival premiere. When the screening's set, we'll post the date, time and location here.
FEBRUARY 2001
February was an exciting month. Laurence and Kendall went to the American Film Market in CA and met with 12 distributors who are now viewing the trailer and/or the entire film. Also, Avenet Images launched its website. You can click over there to see the next film projects in development.
JANUARY 2001
It's 2001, an exciting year for "Freez'er" because this is the year people actually get to see the film. But the first to see it should be the people who worked so hard to make the film a reality, the cast and crew.
The Cast and Crew Screening will be held at the Fountainhead Lounge in East Atlanta, Saturday, January 27th. Doors will open at 6:00 and the private screening will begin at 6:30 p.m. We're making a conscious effort to send everyone an invitation, but if for some reason we've missed you, please send us an e-mail.
Hope everyone is having a great start to the new year.
NOVEMBER 2000
Drum roll... The movie is finished (at least, our cut of the movie). Now, it's distribution and festival fun. We're still working on the screening for cast, crew and friends. Hopefully, an update on that will be posted soon. I just would like to take a moment and thank everyone who helped make this film possible. And I would like to thank everyone else who has shown an interest in the film. Please drop me an e-mail, if there is anything you'd like to know about the film or the process of making it. I'll post responses for all. Again, thanks for your support; without an audience no film really exists.
Brian Avenet-Bradley
OCTOBER 2000
Over the last five months, we've been fully immersed in the wonderful world of post-production. Since July, we've been working on the sound design. This includes music, foley, looping and sound effects. We're now in the process of creating the final audio mix of the movie.
We are about to enter some festivals, so we'll keep you updated of the ones we'll participate in.
One distributor has expressed interest in the trailer and is now waiting on the completed version of the movie.
We're also planning on having a private screening for the cast and crew in Atlanta, GA. If you're not part of the cast and crew and want to see the film, you must request an invitation from the producer. Tickets will be available based on seat availability for that one showing.
