Mark Lee Fletcher

Mark has been creating musical landscapes for films and videos since the age of 13. He created his first composition by writing a computer program on a Commodore 64 computer. The program played the Halloween theme with certain notes transposed, a clever trick, which he claimed dodged copyright infringement. (John Carpenter could not be reached for comment.)

Since then, he has continued to compose and perform music using the latest technology as well as traditional instruments such as the guitar and bass. Consequently, his compositions are a bizarre concoction of the synthetic and the organic, the old and the new.

Brian Avenet-Bradley, the director, says: "his musical landscapes are what give "Cold Blood" its true suspense."

In addition to creating film scores, he also writes, performs, records, mixes, and masters his own pop songs in a variety of genres.
