The "bug" took a vicious bite into John when he wrote, starred and directed a play in high-school. In 1992, he expanded into feature film acting with the mock-umentary "Feud: Another Filmmaker's Apocalypse." In a supporting role, he nailed the character of the pathologically lying, egotistical, cowardly deputy Hank McGhee - and subsequently stole the movie away from everyone else. He threatens to steal it again by playing the part of the farm's curious caretaker who becomes a major thorn in JM's side. "I've always enjoyed working with Brian Avenet-Bradley and hope to continue in the future. Although, I seem to either die or get tortured when I do! Perhaps, in the future, I'll survive unmolested." Brian said, "I don't know anyone else who would fall into a grave four times in a row, and then stay half-buried in dirt for three hours." On last report, John said "I STILL have dirt in my ear!" John doesn't limit his acting to being on stage or in front of the camera. His voice-over work spans a wide array of interesting characters and vocal effects... just ask anyone on the shoot! An avid jet-skier and motorcyclist, John has no intention of slowing down... "the day you stop moving is the day you start dying!" Feel free to contact John at altom@chartertn.net |
