Carrie has been acting in Atlanta, GA, for the last four years, both on stage and in commercials. Upon moving to Atlanta in 1996, she joined Quantum Improv Troupe, an improvisation comedy troupe that performed weekly in the Buckhead area. Her stage credits include M' Lynn in Steel Magnolias, performed by AT&T Community Players. Her stage experience also extends into teaching children's improvisational and acting classes at the Acting Academy with Allen Evitts. Carrie has hosted several training videos for American Computer Experience and CNN Studio Tours. She has recently begun performing improvisational theater again with a new group, The Funny Ha-Ha's. This was Carrie's first experience acting in a feature film. "I absolutely loved acting and being involved with the film. I'll never forget Coco the cow, sweat bees by the pond, the cold and freezing moments in the barn, the four-hour bath, the Tuesday night at the hotel, good ol' Yuma, Virginia, and of course, watching Barnes turn black-and-blue by day 2 at the farm... and oh yes... THE FARM!" Carrie is looking forward to the opportunity to continue acting in the independent film scene in Atlanta. |
